I am a second six pupil and need to apply for my Provisional Practising Certificate. How do I do this?

Provisional Practising Certificates are dealt with by the Pupillage Administration team within the Authorisations Department of the Bar Standards Board. This isn’t something the Barrister Records Team can assist with.

Information about the forms you need to complete as you progress through your pupillage can be found on the Bar Standards Board website at the link below:

Pupillage Forms

If you have any questions regarding pupillage or provisional practising certificates, you will need to contact the Pupillage Administration team directly. They can be reached on 020 7611 1444 or by email at pupillageadministration@barstandardsboard.org.uk.

More information regarding contacting that team can be found here.
