How can I delegate to my employer?

Modified on Tue, 27 Feb, 2024 at 3:05 PM

Barristers are only able to delegate to an organisation if the organisation is set up with us as a block payment organisation.

If your organisation is set up to accept delegated payments then you will be able to delegate payment to them when you reach the checkout page in the AtP renewal process. You can do this up until the delegation deadline of 18 March 2024. However, please be aware that your organisation may choose to set an earlier deadline. Should they do so, you will receive an automated email advising you of the earlier deadline.

If your organisation is not set up to accept delegations and would like to set up as a block payment organisation to allow you to delegate payment, we will need them to nominate someone within the organisation that will administer the process and request the invoice.  Once that person is set up you will be able to delegate your fee(s) and they will then be able to request one invoice for all their barristers’ fees and make one payment to us.

Please email the Barrister Records Office ([email protected]) the following details of the nominated person and fees they wish to accept delegation for to us:

Full Name (including title):

Direct Email Address:

Direct Phone Number:

Position within Organisation:

Address:

What fees they wish to receive delegations for, the options are: All Fees (Practising Certificate Fee (PCF), Bar Representation Fee and Advocate Donation), or PCF Only.
